The heat
Ride. Shove. Repeat.
Three minutes a heat. Falling costs you a couple of seconds and nothing else, so nobody is ever out of it.
Pick a dog and go
Every breed rides differently and throws something different. Hold W, look where you want to go, and carve with A/D — carving bends the line you are already on, so you do not have to learn surf strafing to get down the hill.
Knock somebody off
Click to fling a rock. It shoves, it never damages. Off the lip of the Pit, over the edge of the Ring, into the void: however they leave the park, that is a point. Your own shot kicks you backwards, which is half the fun and most of the accidents.
Land the trick
In the air the keys you are already holding spin the dog: A/D spin it flat, W/S flip it. Land upright and the style banks as bones. Land halfway through and you bail, lose the combo and wobble off looking stupid.

A skill you can explain in four words
ZOOMIES is a dash. TROVÃO is a shockwave bark. TURBINA launches the pug, and anyone standing behind him. Nothing to read, nothing to build.
Party rules
Every heat rolls a modifier
Moon gravity, greased ramps, trampoline boards, or an estilingue that fires boulders. You find out in the countdown, same as everyone else.
Catch-up
Losing hits harder
Whoever is behind on points shoves harder with every shot. A runaway leader gets launched by the dog in last place, and that is entirely the intention.
The park fights back
Wrecking balls, bars, vents and a tennis ball
Chains swing over the Ring, bars sweep the Pit, steam vents fire on a timer and a giant tennis ball rolls the whole lap. Ring hazards always shove you inward, so the beginner line stays a safe ride.
Falling is cheap
A tumble, two seconds, back on the ramp
You come back with spawn protection and nothing lost. The Drop is the risky shortcut; come up short and you land on the Ring below, which is a recovery, not a punishment.
Bones
Looks only, never power
Style, knockouts and finishing a heat pay bones. Bones buy boards, fur and hats in the pet shop. No dog is ever stronger for spending them.
Results
Everybody gets an award
SPEED DEMON, AIR MARSHAL, AMMO WASTER, CONCUSSION ENJOYER, LOUDEST DOG. The card ranks the heat and then hands every dog something to be proud of.

The pack
Four dogs to a pack.
Solo against bots is the whole game and it is always ready. Online packs run on an authoritative room server: whoever hosts it shares a link, up to four dogs join and bots fill the rest. This build plays single player, so hosting a pack means running the room server yourself.

Is it free?
Yes. Punk Dog Surfers runs in your browser with no download and no account.
Can I play alone?
Yes. A heat against bots is the full game, and it is what this build plays.
How do I play with friends?
Rooms are authoritative and need the room server running somewhere both players can reach. Whoever hosts it starts a pack and sends the link; up to four dogs play and bots fill the empty slots.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. A floating carve stick on the left, the right half of the screen as a look pad, and thumb-sized buttons for fire, hop, brake, your skill and the bark. Landscape is better.
Can strangers talk to my child?
No. There is no chat, no voice and nothing anywhere in the game you can type. Name tags are rolled from a word list rather than typed, so no dog can be called anything by anybody, and there is no public lobby — the only players who can join your pack are the ones you send the link to.
Is there a way to just ride?
Yes. "Just ride" opens the whole park with no clock, no score and no other dogs in it. Nothing is shooting at you and nothing ends; it is there for the half of this game that is a movement toy.
Do bones make my dog stronger?
No. Bones buy boards, fur and hats. Nothing you buy changes how a dog rides or how hard it shoves.
Is there damage or health?
No. Nothing does damage — everything shoves. You lose a heat by being somewhere the park is not.
It is not a sport. It is four dogs and a hill.
